Fuses next to the battery box

Car  RENAULT CLIO III
Hello,

I cleaned the engine compartment, and when I removed the battery box cover, I found these items next to the battery box (as shown in the picture). I didn’t know what they were, but online they say they are large fuses. My question is: is it normal to have only 4 fuses? I have a 2006 Renault Clio 3, 1.6V.

I’d say it’s normal yes, larger fuses/relays are usually under bonnet instead of in the passenger compartment. I presume the car runs fine and you are just being inquisitive? Your manual will no doubt tell you what the fuses relate to.

Thank you for your response.
I have a problem with acceleration, especially on the highway. When I try to increase speed, it takes a long time and I feel like the engine is going to explode from the noise it makes. I thought the missing fuses in the box might be the cause, and that’s why I wanted to ask about it.

Unless a fuse has blown the running issue may be something else like a failed sensor or another part. Have you put code reader on it?

There are plenty of knowledgeable people on here who should be able to give some guidance.

I connected the OBD device to it and no error or code appeared .
