Gap in cam cover?+Bolt(pic)

I have a gap which looks like my cam cover creaking open, can't get pictures right now unfortunatly of the gap

Is this the bolt for the top of the cam cover as it looks too long? anyone have an idea

That looks like a bolt out of the top of the suspended engine mounting (at the accessories end of the engine next to the cam cover). There is a small gap there I think which is normal. But you need to put up a pic.
