Gave back the courtesy car today...

...and never realised how slow mine is, I knew it was never fast but sheesh!

While having some warrenty bits done I was given this:

A 5 door 08 Expression 1.2 TCE and the first thing I thought was I dont like the inside, couldn't believe how differnt it is to the 3 door and even though mine isnt much lower I felt up in the clouds with this, plus alot of the little extras that are in mine were missing from this and everything was just black and plastic. At first I was a little cautions but threw that to the wind as I only had it a day so went for a drive. I'm not sure if it was me being too harsh with the clutch or naff tyres but the tyres seemed to like squeeling and spinning when I was turning out of junctions and at an angle lol. I have to say I didn't feel as comfortable driving harder into bends (that I know well in my car) as it didn't feel stable. Maybe its that mine is sitting slightly stiffer and is a 3 door?

Got mine back today and I was so happy to see her but f**k me did it suck going back to it speed wise

P.s. I do love my clio :rasp:..She just a bit of a......

Well to begin with I couldn't tell much difference but the low end was far more impressive than mine and it was just a little more punchy.

When I got back in mine I was lurching about abit but that was because the clutch on mine wasn't as new as the TCE's so it bit in a different place.

The advantages I noticed was going to work I am up and down so many hills and I found i could just stay in the outside lane of the dualy and just overtake all the way up were as in mine its dying half way up lol! And it was fun making the tyres squeel around nearly every round about and bend lol! I didn't rate the handling though didn't feel any where near as solid as mine and mine stil isn't The Rock; I think its due to the fact I'm used to mine being a little stiffer and this thing was a 5 door so obv a looser chassis.
