After the last 5 weekends giving other peoples cars my attention i thought it was about time that i gave my wife's Volvo S60 a bloody good wash and wax. (i have run out of Carpro Reload)
The car hasn't been washed for ages as you can see from the pictures, we have also owned it for a year and covered almost 11k (its now on 122k)
Still over the moon with the car as its everything my family needs and still getting high 40 - mid 50 mpg on a run.
Sunday morning i made a start, giving the mining wheels and wheel arches a good clean.
Wheel arches got a spray with G101 and the wheels got a clean with a few products as they where in a mess (they really need a refurbish but this will have to wait)
Sorry looking S60. 😞

Once the wheels where clean i moved onto the body work, car was given a rinse with the hose and then a snow foam with Bilt hamber auto foam
The BH snow foam is lots better then the VP stuff that i had been using, it didn't make as much foam but it did work alot better and pulled more dirt off.

Car was washed using the 2BM, Iron X de Tar and clayed with the Bilt Hamber clay with water and a snow foam mix for my lube.
The exhaust was looking a bit crap, i dont think its made from stainless but i gave it a clean anyway.

I had run out of Carpro Reload so i decided to use the FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant that i had sitting about, its a very easy product to use, very easy on and off but it doesn't smelll that great. (im not bothered) i bought it to seal the PH1 exhaust, ive used it on the Volvo to see just how well it holds up on the family battle bus.
So far water behavior is great and the gloss looks good, for £18 a tin i don't think you can go wrong.
Plastics where dressed with Solution Finish, i only had time to do the top part of the rear bumper and the door moldings.
Anyway ill let the pictures do the talking.

So now i have a very happy wife which is the main thing, tbh the S60 could do with a machine polish which i will do at a later date once i have some spare time on my hands.
Hope you all like.
