Gave the STi a bit of a detail

Following on from the thread 2 weekends ago with my Dad's RS, I decided to give the ol' STi the same treatment.

All products used were from Chemical Guys (with the exception of Auto-Glym Super Resin Polish) - can't recommend them enough.

Ford have acknowledged my (amended) order but haven't allocated me a build or delivery date yet. Gonna chase up the dealer thru the week to see if there's any more news.

Ford need to get their act together with the build process. Folk are waiting far too long and my be tempted to cancel and go for the new Megane if it lives up to it's predecessors.

Nah Gaz; just Lux Pack 1 and no leather.

I quite like the green trim on the seats and you lose that with the leather option

I agree. I'd actually be quite tempted by one if I could have had a good look around a demo and a drive. Sack buying a car you can't see for 6 months etc

Lovely. Big fan of your car, small registration plates make such a difference to the look of a car! Only thing I hate about STi's are those f**king horrible wing mirrors, they look huge on them!
