Who else on here has had a clio 172/182 tuned by gdi and breaking the 200bhp barrier? Love to see some pics :D
 
Hopefully I will in a couple of weeks.

Getting AWT cams and manifold, OMEX, sports cat, cat back exhaust and viper on my 182.

Should be 200bhp!?
 
Think there are quite a few GDI cars over the 200 mark now. Got to give some credit to BenR from AngelWorks (AWT) too though as most of the cars run his tweaked manifolds / heads / cams
 
oh, I am picking mine up tuesday .... last two RR runs were 205 then 209 (183ft/ltbs)

We're hoping for circa 215 this time.

Ross.... so thats where they come from...... I just never get to see him!
 
Mines almost 200bhp...running cams, smt6, AngelWorks Inlet manifold, viper and prospeed exhaust system. Feels quite fast :)
 
well yes.... some cam profiles we have tried dont work well at all..

idle problems, loss of torque or peak at rpm that is unrealistic for a road car for example.

I was not talking about Pipers..... just in general...

NO REALLY!

We have installed lots of Pipers and for the money they are excellent... just not as good in a 172/182 than Billets
 
i wanna make mine over 200bhp, what will i need and how much would i be looking at?

at the mo i have viper induction kit, ktr sports cat and ktr cat back system
 
I know Andy, just thought i'd stick up for my trusty ol pipers :D lol.

Lee, i'd go for Ben's (AWT) billet cams as the profile works really well apparently :)

it's okay mate you can say it... avoid Kent cams like an anal fisting... (pardon the French...) can cause and have caused severe engine problems to a few cars.
 
well that was part of the reference.... but it was generic.... tried loads of things... some work, some dont...
