gear box/anti roll bar

my gear changing feels really loose, gearbox moves up and down when changing gear, and exhaust sounds like it had a hole in it, garage said a couple of weeks ago I need a anti roll bar replaced or the exhaust will fall off, could this be it?

I think you may have got something confused in conversation with the garage, are you certain they said rollbar?
the ARB isn't even connected to the gearbox.

DO NOT GO BACK TO THIS SO CALLED GARAGE.

The gearbox is more than likely to be the dogbone mount ( this connects the gb to the body with a rubber bush) and your exhaust is just blowing.
Neither of these have anything to do with the arb.
