Gear knob and gaitor...

There's a few niggles with my new car, one of which is the gaitor seems to have completely come away, revealing sticky-out bits of plastic all round. I dunno if I can get it back into place!? But if not, I'll probably just change it for a Momo one with a chrome surround or something. I was wondering, being a lift up reverse knob, is it hard to get off?

Do i even need to to get to the gaitor? I had a lift up reverse on my Corsa and remember having to chizzle it off :dead:

I prefer the standard look when it comes to gear gaitors, but its up to u.
