gear shift light on the 182

is there a gear shift light or somethin like that in the 182?i read something about a gear shift light on 172s and/or cups. if it is then how does it works?

At a guess it lights up when you really do need to change gear. Apparently I have one too.

yeah its just a rather annoying light.

pointless. you can hear/see when you need to change gear.

it was supposed to be an optimum shift light, but its more of a "redline approaching" warning light.

If found I rarely saw the light as until youre having a real blast, you dont need to rev it that hard to get great performance.
