gearbox change

need a new gearbox and cant find my self an rsi one was jus wonderin if anyone knew if a 1.4rt off a mk 1 would fit in my mk1 rsi without any difficulties

Shouldnt nope you will need to adjsutr it to fit but nothing serious.

i need new gearbox as well, finding it hard to find one though. 1.4 16V dynamique i have. They seem pretty costly new so rather find 2nd hander somewhere

Same box as a normal CLio 1.4

You can always use the 1.6 16V box or the 1.2 box (1.2 isn't as strong though).

The 1.2 and the 1.4 both use a JB1 box though? So they should be the same strength wise?

The 1.4 is stronger but the same derivite as such the 1.6 has a stronger box.

There the same like a Focus 1.6 and 2.0 are the same car.
