gearbox for clio 16v plate fix

hay i have a 1993 clio 16v and my gear box has started to grind i have been told that it maybe a clip came off my dif and there is a sulotion to fix this does any 1 no where u can get the plate to hold the clips in on the dif and how much it will cost thank u darryl

re: the box, it is the circlip that goes in it.

This means nothing to me LOL as I'm not a mechanic but I believe that it'll need a rebuild!
