Gearbox oil for 182

whats the best gearbox oil to use in a 182?
How much needed?
Shall I drain old stuff out?
How do I fill and drain please peeps?

3 litres is required
Of course you should drain the old stuff out haha. Drain plug is from below but can't remember what size.
To fill it up there is a wingnut that is on the front of the gearbox facing the radiator that you unscrew with your fingers, stick a pipe in like a hose pipe and funnel then fill up from above. Easy

As above but the gearbox holds 3.1 litres so I would buy 4 so you will have enough and some spare

This is to take in account the amount that will be left over when you drain your gearbox as you will never fully get it all out.

You do not need to buy 4 litres.

I'd buy the extra litre for the simple reason that having a gearbox that doesn't weep from the selector shaft seal is a rare thing. I topped mine up again this year and gave it a clean.
