Gearbox oil - what to use?

Having had a search there seems to be a few different answers to this.

75w 80 or 75w 90 semi does it matter?

After my driveshaft popped out i may aswell do a fluid change. Has anyone used the Halfords stuff before?

You need this stuff.

It's the correct oil, as recommended by Renault. And that's the cheapest I've found it.

i use 75W90 semi in all of mine, works fine

This is what makes me think otherwise.

Just go euro, get the one they recommend.

It's not an f1 box, it'll be fine as long as it's the right grade and reasonable quality.
