Gearbox problem

ok got a problem with the gearbox on the valver,

im driving along in 2nd and it will suddenly come out of gear as if i pushed it back to neutral, if i hold it down i can feel it wantin to go out. Whats up with it and what will fix it?

mine did that alot, aparently its the gear linkage needing to be tightened or could be the dogbone.

I assume its when you back off the throttle it pops out of gear? As Jonny says, the most likely thing will be the slop in the engine mountings causing the engine to rock and the car will jump out of gear. I dont think the tightness of the linkage will make much difference though.

It could also be weak synchros on 2nd gear which can only be resolved with a recon or another box.
