hey guys, where's the best place or person to recondition a Clio phase 1 172 gearbox please?

Depends on what has broke/worn once they open it up. Have a search on the forum using agency transmissions in the search box.

Loads of threads with rough costs etc.

Agency, won't cost much more than 150 - 200 inc parts, as long as it hasn't exploded that is.

We've never had a problem.

Same with engines really, some leak, some don't, some go bang, some don't.

thanks for the massive response guys really appreciate it, but think it's a dodgy engine mount as it vibrates when I put ma toe down a little and the stick shoots back a bit further :-\ just hoping it's not box as I've just replaced box and clutch :-\
