Gearbox with no oil

With the box in neutral can i run the motor without risking box damage. Input shaft will be driven i guess...

I wouldn't do that.

Not a bright idea unless you want to sit there with your foot on the clutch for the duration of running it.

^ Yep, only way to completely eliminate drive to the gearbox is the clutch.
