genuine parts ???

lookin at the nw performance aite, is it worth getting the belts done using genuine parts or are the non-genuine parts just as good? i am just thinking about price here lol and why pay more?

and my car is a 182 with air con so cant get the amazing deal atm!!!

no need to go for genuine, its incredibly rare i do one with genuine bits these days as non gen is gen just not in the gen box if you understand that! haha

Do you know what manufacture of kit they are using?

You want something like INA/Dayco/Continental/Gates if non-gen is being used.

my local renault dealer gave me a pricematch/quote of £440 for Oe cambelt and auxbelt change my car has aircon and all the gadgets just shows the economic chris will make you do anything

i work at the renault main dealer (local to me) i had a quote from a friend said he would do my cambelt and aux belt change for £400 with a stamp in the book, asked the boss to see if he would match or better the price he came back with £440 all in with oe belts and a dealer stamp in the service book dont forget bearing in mind i work there and get discount
