Geo done - thoughts?

Hi guys,

Got full alignment done last week on a Hunter machine. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to things like this - what do you think of the numbers?

That morning I had my worn Bridgestone RE050A (front) Toyo T1R (rear) replaced with a set of new PS3. I have done about 100 miles since and I think the car feels more stable but at a cost of slightly less sharpness on initial turn in. Could that be a result of the big change in toe or slight decrease in camber?

Thoughts appreciated thanks.

The change in toe would affect matters.

When my Clio was tracked the guy ignored the Clio settings and judging by the wear on the inner edges he seems to have a point. He set it up with a little toe out but for it to go to 0 toe under load. It did seem sharper than what it was as a result TBH. The rear became a little more lively as well!

Quick update: few more miles under the belt and tyres scrubbed in a little. Turn in has returned and in addition it feels more stable in a straight line and with increased ultimate grip. All good!

All the moulding and preservative agents on the surface of a sticker-fresh, new tyre need to burn off before you get a true feel for what the rubber is really doing.

Sounds like you've made it through that bit :)

I'm surprised they didn't get the toe a little closer, that looks a bit 'that'll do' to me.

Rear beam is bang on though, clearly not taken any knocks.

Thanks for replies!

It certainly felt good before in corners but was nervous in a straight line under power (especially 5k+). As has been said, the toe would appear to have been well out.

Very happy now. Sharpness returned and more settled / stable with it. Money well spent. Rear ARB next....
