S2 106 GTI
Been in touch with a company from penrith who vinyl all the Eddie Stobart wagons and the M-Sport rally cars. Basically I wanted a carbon bonnet - but the cost of the .R bonnet is over £1K....... so cost is a huge disadvantage! but it looks great.
I was talking to a mate who has a mate who works for this company and he sent a few texts over asking about wrapping etc... nxt thing he sent me a sample through the post of the carbon vinyl they use.
I have used the 3M Di-Noc in the past and found it to be the 'most' realistic to carbon - but there sample was (in my eyes) even better! its more glossy which is better than matt, plus you can polish it.
few pics of sample and 3M di-noc

I know a few will say 'yeah its not real carbon etc etc' but I didn't fancy the upkeep you have to do with the real one (stone chips etc) and also if I don't like it in a few years time just peel off and back to normal!
Also the 2 year warranty is good!
Will get pics up once done - couple of weeks time
