Getting pissed off at cleaning my car!

  Black Gold with cup packs
I know it's white before you all start, and probably deserve it, BUT. I seem to be cleaning the car too much, 3 times a week at times, This weather is cocking me off, I clean it, looks stunning, drive 20 miles (back and forth to town) and the the car it black, has black s**t all over it. Then all my previous hard work seems pointless.
I am considering giving up cleaning it until the weather gets nice, or stop cleaning it obsessivley anyway, just stick to my usual once a week.
Any info how I can help prevent the car getting so stinking within 20 minutes of cleaning it?
Products that can help ect!

Only way is don't drive it lol - Black or White cars you are onto a no win situation before you start.

Chop it in for silver, I can go months with out cleaning it !

Even sealed it and all the usual b****cks but it still gets stinking as is equally difficult to clean.

Lol, i cleaned my car 2 weeks ago, waxed etc it was stunning.

Woke up to find it covered in ice, and had to anti freeze the fucker, when it all cleared a few hours later it was disgustingly filthy arghh

Don't drive it.

Other than that, just once a week will suffice

You don't understand, it's white, and dirty white makes it look like you have a shitty grey colour car.
I have resorted to using a jet wash even because my usual 2-3 procedure of cleaning it has began to get a tad tedious

A good sealant, and or wax, should mean a wash alone should leave it looking as good as when first waxed. Though in order to get this you need to spend a few quid on a decent wax.

Super Resin only has very limited protectional qualitys.

Order would be the AG SRP, then the Jeffs Sealant x 2 or 3 layers than add some Carnuba wax on top.

A silly question coming up, If you leave your car stinking for longer, does this have any adverse effects on the paintwork longterm?

As long as the paintwork is well protected you should see no adverse effects. The issues will be more so the road salt etc under wheels arches at this time of year.

My car is minging at the moment, not been cleaned for about 3 weeks and driven back home and back in that time. But as its well sealed and waxed a decent pressure wash and a pre-foam will sort it right out. Although I REALLY need to get the wheels off and do the insides properly over Easter.

3 times a week though is totally pointless IMO at this time of the year - not to mention bloody cold! Save it for the summer...

Every 6 weeks is fine at this time of year

It is amazing how much free time I have now too, I get an extra day in the week, Sundays used to be spent recovering from Saturday/ cleaning the car for a god few hours. Although probably looking at a big session as soon as I get home, wheels off, might even get around the painting the callipers black as have been wanting to do that for ages!

  Weeman sucks ****
Let it get dirty and drive the bl00dy thing how it was intended. As long as it's cleaned in a good way then it'll be fine. Mine was last done 4 months ago and it looks pretty good considering it's 100,000 miles old and has never seen one of those egg whisk things! Only ever polished and waxed it by hand twice.

Dirt looks good.

^^^^ Thats done 100K, that looks well smart, makes you think how some people treat their cars when you see sh!tters with only 30-40K on the clock.

I washed mine last night, dried it then drove 40 miles on motorway and now it looks terrible. After the local meet on sunday it's getting a clean then locked away in the garage for a few weeks

Meh. Black is far far worse than white, least you dont see all the marring/swirls on a white car. You can swap your White Cup for my Albi if you want? ;)

Mine hasn't been done for about 3 weeks and it looks s**t, although even though its dirty like animal it still looks shiny due to the paint being in great nick, and I know a power wash and some snow foam will have it looking great again in no time.
