Getting the back seats out (HELP)

Hi, I want to get the back seats out of my 91 RT. Haynes says "unclip the clips at the top of the seats and push seat forward. Then just work away from bottom edges" or something like that. Well they aint comming out, dont even look like they want to! Any ideas what I am doing wrong? It feels like there is something holding them in place pretty firmly, which is of course, what you would expect.
So can anyone help?

There are clips at the bottom of each side that have a rotational lock mechanism !! You need to slide your hand down the side of the seat and youll find a lever that rotates one way to open the lock. Then you should be able to lift the seat back out of the securing pins !!

Its a bit of a bugger to do but once you have done it once then you will soon learn how to do it quickly !!

:D

Sorry

Cheers,

My brother came home about 2 mins after I finished on the forums. I told him what I was trying to do. He got changed and jumped into the back of the car. Looked over the seats, grabbed a flat head screw driver, popped the catches off and took the seats out. 30 seconds it took, 30 sodding seconds! I was there for an hour.

Cheers anyway.
