the cost of putting the plate back on is included when you remove it.

find your local dvla office and they will have the forms you need

im doin the same at the mo mate

goin to the dvla office at trafford park on thursday, you need your full registration doc (v5c) and change of plate form v317 and a mot certificate (if applicable) and your tax disc expiration date and tax number.

i think thats everything you need! by post it takes a while but doesnt take long if you g the the office yourself, its £80 to change a plate but if you have already paid to take it off the old 1 then you may not have to pay anything else!

hope this helps
