182
The Cars: 3x 197, 3x 182, a 172 and a Scooby
The Facts:
1. Racing Blue 197 - Hamilton
Between 14:30 and 15:00
Plate Starts - ST08
Followed all the way from the Philips Factory (that does the Christmas Displays in December (good times!) on Wellhall Road, all the way down to Caird Street and then onto the Bothwell Road Dual Carriageway.
What a colour!
2. B@llsie's Scooby - Hamilton
Asda Carpark: see here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=332681
3. Red 172 - East Kilbride
Between 16:30 and 17:30
This lad was certainly "gein it aw that" and more!
On the dual carriageway past the Town Centre shops, looked in the rear view to see it screaming up behind me.
Wasn't in the 182 so had no choice but to make my excuses and let him past.
Took the roundabout at a huge speed and took off toward the town centre.
I continued cruising along grampa style up the dual carriageway.
100% sure it was a mark 2 flamer, however i'm also pretty sure the number plate was a 51plate. Could have misread it though, or maybe it was his own plate. Didn't think the mk2 came on a 51 plate.
Distingushing feature: Front lights were tapped up as if it had been tracked.
4. Black 182 - A77 toward Glasgow
Between 16:45 and 17:30
Not far from the average speed camera section of the road. (nightmare)
On the other side of the road going towards Glasgow
5. White 197 - Ayr
Between 20:30 and 21:30
Driving past the station hotel onto the one way system.
What a colour. Defo my first choice if i was ever to get a 197.
6. Inferno 182 - A77 towards Ayr
Again between 20:30 and 21:30 and again on the other side of the dual carriageway.
Very easy to recognise because its completely inferno, however has a black gold front bumper!
7. Kiev85 - Clarkston/Muirend
See here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=332688
8. White 197 - Glasgow
Between 00:30 and 01:30
Carefully sticking to the stupid 30mph speed limit down the Clydeside Expressway. (Hardly and expressway anymore!)
Plate Started: SH08
Again absolutely stunning in white. Loved it!
Most spots i've ever had in a day!
Still to spot Iains V6 though!
