Glorious Goodwood

Had a play with a Caterham R400 today in the roasting sun. Fantastic day, had the track pretty much to myself for the last two hours as most had buggered off for bank holiday things.

Considering its age I think the Cup's doing very well. I actually started to get annoyed today with people wanting to ask me questions about it. They're finally getting a bit of well deserved reputation LOL

Glad to see the Cup is still going strong mate. Was half expecting a vid of you going round in that bloody Suzuki again...;)

Goodwood is right on my doorstep but ive never been compelled to do a day there for some reason!

I almost took the Cup home at lunch to swap it for the Ignis...didn't in the end but the Ignis will get an outing there before this season's finished.

What time were you there?

Probably because it's so bloody expensive!

Value for money...2.5 miles of track, max of 10 cars, so thats 0.25 miles of clear track per car. Compare that with Brands Indy, 1 mile of track, and they let 30-40 cars out.

You do the maths!

Nice! Are you still on the OE suspension?

Not any more. Standard dampers, but now running Eibach Sportline springs. Felt good, had a really positive front end yet the back stayed planted unless really provoked.

This is how it looks now...including the lovely Fabia front splitter...
