Glove Box - Dropping! So annoying!

Car  L'arctic Bleu Clio 182FF
Hi All,

I have read on here its a common problem for the glovebox to sag on the right hand side, so that it looks like its hanging lower...

I know in the grand scheme of life its pretty unimportant lol, but all us proud ClioSport owners like to seek perfection! ;)

Does anyone know how you can fix it? Or is it something you just have to grin and bear?

Surely there must be a cheeky fix possible!
Thanks!

mine does exactly the same and the first thing my mate sed to me wen he got in was that its exactly the same in his megane,so it must be common with renault.

Could always have a mini glove box?

Had the same problem, really pissed me off!
in the end i drilled the rivets out and replaced with philips head screws.
This way you can adjust to exactly the position you want then tighten up the screws.
Finally i painted the bolt heads black so they didnt stand out.

My Mk3 did it and got a replacment fitted and since i took it out to fit the Alpine nit its started doing it again doing my tits in

I believe this little black plastic pice is the problem. It runs true the hinge.... Just took my glove box out and knoticed this broken... so I found a bolt a little bigger than the hole and screwed it in as a replacement. Seems to have worked. 🤙 #plastic$h1t3
