Glove box won't close properly

My glove box just won't close properly, it looks like this?

This means that the light in the box flickers and annoys the hell out of me. Anyone had this? It doesn't have anything blocking it, the hindges don't seem to catch. Im starting to think I may need to replace the door?

Lol. I've taped over the switch in the standard French fix. Bend it tmrw

Grab hold of it and bend it good and proper, keep doing it, like 20x in a row, it'll straighten up.

Gave it a good bend, not perfect but alot better!

Mine does the same. Are the hinges strong enough to bend the glove box lid against? They're not easily snappable are they?

The hinges on mine where fine when i bent it, don't blame me if you do break it though lol
