Glovebox Handle?

Is there a way to get the handle back on the glovebox? Friend of mine pulled mine off and cant seem to get it back in place???

Is there a knack to it, or is it doomed?

Any idea's before i get my eyes took out at Renault?

I guessing the actual glovebox door is split in 2 halves then plastic welded, so to sort the handle split the door in 2 risking breaking it.

Ive tried getting it in place when its prized open, but for some reason it doesnt catch correctly?

Why would you go to renault for that?

Your glovebox is scratched anyway - buy another off ebay and swap the lids over.

How easy are they to change though?? I dont have a rivet gun to reattach with rivets?
