I doubt you'll hear it too much - but it's good that it's there cos the car 'feels' like it will go onto 12,000 revs - which it obviously wont .

does anyone know roughly how long it takes to build a car in the factory? because last week i was told my car is being built so i dont know how long it will be until it actually arrives? also is there a renaultsport factory the 200 is built in or is everything done in one factory?

Depends on spec/colour.

Just had a customers 200 Cup come forwards by 2 weeks - so 4 weeks from order to arriving in the uk.

The dealer won't have any influence on delivery times until the car is in the uk (at a Renault distribution centre) where it can be requested for earlier delivery subject to shipping availability.

well i ordered on the 15th of july and was told first week of oct then told it would be end of sept now ive been told it will be in southampton on the 9th of oct. what has to be done once its in the UK? registered?

My delivery estimates etc went up and down like a *****s knickers.

Useless french t***s couldn't organise a piss up in a vineyard.

At least mine was 3 weeks earlier than their last guestimate

I saw an LY 200 at the showroom yesterday, with Recaros... I nearly made a mess in my pants!

Then I had the experience of trying to get in and out of it with the really stiff high sides to the Recaros and ended up feeling like a pensioner trying to get in/out of an Elise, and got a sore leg for my trouble. Doh.

Assembly of the Car itself takes just about 24 hours as far as i know.

Mines at the Dealer and im not allowed to fetch it... sucks
