Just taken my original dealer plates off to fit my fancyplates.com ones.

Trying to remove all the sticky stuff that holds em on!!

Nearly rubbed me fingers off.

Just got to go and fit the new ones now.

They do fit on pretty tightly. I found that the place I bought my car had used 6 or 7 sticky strips per plate.

Ended up using my mums hair dryer! lol Heated up and came of no probs.

i had to do that when i took my private reg off, i could pull the car they were on that bad.

mine had been on the car ten years! when i came to get them off the backing came away from the plate leaving all the letters and numbers stuck to my car! took bloody ages to remove it all!!

Evostik adhesive remover, £5 from B&Q. Gets it off in 2 minutes.

I used Petrol in the end, still a bit of a bugger but they came off.

Fancyplates all fitted now.
