going back for a dci

  clio dci
hi been on here a while ago but i have sold my dci since then and i have got a focus 1.6 but i miss the tourqe and mpg off the dci :( . So im going to buy a another one a dci 80 and get it remaped by angle tunning witch will take it to 110bhp they said. Just wouldering what the top speed will be. tested on privite road or rolling road off corse. My old one got 110mph it was a standered 80bhp one with no remap and had 17inch wheels on. Im goning to have 16inch wheels on this one . Just one more thing what price range will i be payin for one ?

thanks jamie :)

Can reach the rev limit in the DCI 80 when it's standard, you just reach it quicker when it's mapped. I've had 120mph on GPS before, that was down a hill when I was already flat out, normally it'll see about 110 GPS on a flat road. 5th just hasn't got any puff, up to 90 it's alright though.

Do you mean Angel tuning as in http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/default.asp ???

yea that angletunning. do yous think it will be faster than my focus for what i can rember about my dci that it felt faster so with a remap surle it will be faster and the focus only has 98bhp and not even worth saying any think about the tourqe lol

I wouldn't goto them again personally, my car was mapped on one of their maps for about 3 weeks and it had a few hiccups to say the least.

Performance wasn't the issue, reliability was. They wanted to play around and get it running right, but I just got my money back instead.

Faster than a 1.6 focus for sure. It was about 30 seconds to 100, which is appalling, but for a 1.5 diesel isn't half bad. It did die when it got to 90 though, so 30-90 I'd say it's quicker than other cars that do 0-100 in 30s.

This is a vid of 3rd and 4th on a flat road. Full interior with a loaded boot.

I would say Superchips, but they've put their prices up for diesels to 500 inc VAT. Which is borderline excessive imo. I can get a special rate of 325 at Superchips in .... It's just south of Manchester on the M6 somewhere. Forgotten the name.

There's a guy called Paul Murray on here that's highly regarded, not sure where he's based though, maybe he's worth a shout.

Thats me trying to be diplomatic.....
