I had originally considered the Netgear WGR614 but I found many owner reviews online claiming that it dropped the connection often. It was the cheapest I could find at £17.99

I've had 2 Netgears that have self destructed on me, a Belkin that kept cutting out and had 4 Linksys that I have never had a problem with.

very strange myself and people i know have had loads of problems with linksys, you would think they are decent due to being cisco cast offs .

linksys routers are very good.

So are netgear.

Belkin are crap 2 of my friends had them both now have netgear routers after i let them borrow my 2nd one to test if it would be any better. I have 2 dg834's the wired and wireless version. Can say not had an issue with either of them. Wireless works brilliantly with my 360 has not lost connection once yet.

I've never heard bad things about Linksys.. infact all I have is my own experience. I do find that people rate Netgear quite highly but I have never heard a good word about Belkin!
