Truly heartbroken to be honest, on my way to Scarborough for maghs birthday night out, a few miles from home and some idiot decides to pull through traffic into the side of me.
I had been stationary in a 30 zone and set off after a build up of traffic and a car heading the opposite way wanted to turn right across me, but had stopped and the traffic built up behind them, while a car coming from a road on my right was pulling through said stationary traffic, he can't have been looking and ploughed into the side of me while I was doing about 20mph. Took my door clean off and lodged into his bumper, took 3 of us to pull it out too.
The impact knocked me to the side a bit which probably saved my life/arm as it the door would have taken my arm with it as i felt it scrape, and was about an inch from my neck/coronary artery. Luckily came out of it all completely fine without even a cut. Just a little shaken and gutted about my little clio.
Door's a little bent, probably jig out. chassis/sill etc are fine, wing is cracked, seat airbag deployed, steering rack is more bent that Lusty bumming Jordi, and the rear axle is bent from where it hit the kerb.

Guy has admitted fault to myself and the police, he was properly upset about it all, I was more concerned about the baby and 3 year old in his car. His car will need a new front bumper and headlight, f*cking strong german cars!!
