Good glue for plastic?

I need to glue my splitter and my headlight (the black bit).

I've used araldite (were you mix the two tubes) and I've tried epoxy resin with some fibre glass. But they didn't seem to stick to the plastics very well. The joins are very brittle. When I tighten screws/bolts you can hear that it is going to break again.

Any one used anything else to good effect? I was thinking something more flexible maybe? Or something that bonds to that type of plastic (what ever it is) better?

araldite is epoxy resin, you need to prep the surfaces for it to bond properly

my dad cracked his splitter and just used super glue and it worked great you couldnt even tell
