Good laptop for £300??

I need a laptop to take between work & home. Looking to spend around the £300 mark.

Not really to fussed on the gaming side of things but it needs to be fast.

It has 8gb ram, enough hard drive for me. Opinions?

Not sure how it compares, but PC World/Dixons have a sale on a few laptops at the moment, and although I don't believe the original RRPs they claim, there were a few reasonable ones around £300 in the sale.

Got a Fujitsu AH530 from dabs outlet for £270 the other day and it bloody good for price

There's an advert on tv at the moment for a laptop that's down to £299. Sounds like it's got a good spec.

Watch some TV and you'll see it.

I would wonder about the quality of a laptop for £300, would a tablet not work for you?
