Hmm, I just worked out. Because of the low mileage of the car, I just put about 3% of it's total mileage on the clock in the first week :dapprove:

Just got back from driving to liverpool from crewe for the last minute christmass shoping and managed a average of 36.9mpg!!!
Thats the best i have got out of the car upto now. It wasn't all motorway either, there was a few b road overtakes and town driving too.

Sorry peeps only just realised that i put 36.9 mpg on the first page, the trip is actually on 46.9 mpg
I thought that 36.9 seemed low lastnight when i started the thread lol. I usally average about 35mpg round town!
