Good price for a 172

Is £6900 trade for an 02 Clio 172 with 26k on it good?

I think it is personally as most of the trade 02 cars have been close to or higher than £8000.

Its 30 miles away but may have a trek down and take a peek.

Ideally I want a 53/04 but this 02 car wont cost me any extra on what paying for the VTS, itll just put me back 18 months.

That sounds a fair price to me. They really are coming down so you may be able to find a better deal, but I think that one is fairly good providing the car is a good un

Well I often see people on here talking about 172 prices and how some are overpriced but this is the first 172 Ive seen for less than £7500 with that sort of mileage on an 02.

That sounds like a very good price. May even be too good to be true? Make sure you give it a thorough inspection and check the VIN plate details against the log book etc. Also give it a good test drive If its straight then go for it.

Very good price, I wouldnt sell mine for that and its a 51 plate with 31,000 on the clock!

Sounds about right to me chris

I sold my 51 plate for £6400 with 29,000 on the clock

As you say most prices are pie in the sky because theyre mostly main dealer cars that have been part exd as people cant sell them for what they think theyre worth private

Find out if its an import though
