Good Sky HD deals?

Just wondering what deals there are going round at the mo. Current user with full package on a standard old Sky box. Through sky there is a massive wait for whatever reason (an also there are rumours of them using reconned boxes?!)

not sure about offers but on the recon issue from what i heard they ran out of new skyhd boxes and were offering people ordering recon ones for a discounted price until more were available. a mate had a new box installed a couple of weeks ago tho so think the shortage is/was over.

when we got ours (was over a year ago now tho) we rang sky and asked what price they could do considering we've been subscribers for years etc. etc. and the bloke on the phone offered a better price with free installation - could be worth a try

I called twice on 31st October and spoke to two different people. Could get sky HD for £75 but had to pay extra £30 for installation even though ive had full package with them since the year dot!!!!!
Oh yer the earliest they could fit it was 23rd December and they wanted my money there and then.

So i told them to shove it!!!

Will wait until january to see what offers they have got. Still not that bothered about getting it to be honest, but i do love my football.

Chris My bro ordered it a few weeks back, he has to wait until jan to be fitted, Chau also has the same problem although his is end of Jan.

Spoke to a bloke who is a SKy engineer, reason for the list is due to a shortage of boxes apparently!
