Just found this and it gives you a good idea on how fast the new gtr really is. It doesnt look that far off an lp640 on the straights and has it well beaten in cornering and braking.
However in a couple of the shots the gtr looks slightly slower in a straight line than the 911 turbo. Might just be the fact that the 911 was on the power slightly quicker.
I was suprised at the gallardo not being able to pass the porsche though especially as it was the superleggera model. Must be to do with the huge and low down torque that the turbo has.
And I thought the exige s did suprisingly well considering the price and power difference to the rest of the field. I think on a twistier circuit it would have been a much closer battle.
