Got fade?

Have been getting into detailing a bit more over the last year, mainly to do my own cars as theyre both old and the paintwork isnt the best. But this week i have been doing one of my mums friends cars after she saw what id managed with our track car below.

She said she was happy for me to practice stuff on hers as it couldnt be made any worse thatn it was (it was bad). So i got stuck in over a few days and the pictures are below.

Products used:

Tyres/arches/door shuts etc - G101 and daisy APC
Foam - Valet pro
Shampoo - AF Lather
Tar/contaminents - Tardis and Iron x
Polish - Meguiars Ultimate Compound on a menzerna orange pad
Glaze - Blackhole
Wax - Purple Haze
Windows - 3m
Doorshuts - Autoglym SRP
Trim - AF Revive

The before pictures, the car had only ever seen '£5 hand car wash' in its life.

Rolled into garage for a bit of testing of combos on the bonnet. Check out that reflection

She was gobsmacked when i dropped it off after, although i said it'll no doubt fade again in a few months sadly. Was great practice on techniques and such tho, just a shame i dont have any decent lights to show up swirls etc. Oh and all pictures are from my phone so excuse the quality

You can't beat a bit of faded red for a dramatic turn around, always satisfying when look at what is was before, the old Mitsubishi came up really well. Good work.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah she was over the moon with it, her friends thought she'd had it resprayed. No I didn't get laid lol but she did give me a few quid for the products used.
