Its lowered 55 mm all round already.
Looking at refurbing my speedlines (possibly white) and getting them on.
Fancy a new exhaust on it at some point.

Some back road fun to be had in it I think.

Then its hit the track at Trax in September...(track virgin!)
Possibly valver conversion it next year or something :)

Me too.. lol.

Going to attempt Silverstone in September at Trax and then book a track day in Spring next year I think.

it gonna be your runabout as well as track car?dont fancy doing it with mine.Tempted to buy a 2nd car.
What stuff do you need for a track day?I am a complete novice

  Sunshine Bus ph-quick
A helmet.
Thats it.. basically, but depends how into it you are.
I've never done a track day either.

Congratulations Hayley, that looks mint! You certainly don't hang about do you? Nice choice of colour too. :D

Edit: I think you can hire helmets for roughly £10 on a track day.

Nope Debz, decided what I wanted and went and found me one. :D

I wasnt sure about naples, but I really really like it!
Sooooo much nicer than the mk2.

Thankies.

Nice one Hayley, it does look pretty sweet for its age. :approve:
On the Track Day note, perhaps Silverstone is a touch too fast and open a track for a 1.4? Have you thought about trying a smaller, twistier track for your first go? It's just a thought - I'm by no means trying to put you off (track days are awesome fun). :D

Its at Trax, and its not actually a track day, just some track time in a group at a show so I thought it'd be a good intro since I've only just got the car and won't have had much play time in it.

Hoping to go down to Oulton park and passenger with some friends before September..

I'm not either TBH, looks MUCH lower at the back than the front IRL (and pix) Possibly 30-35mm.. doesnt even look 40-45 to me.

Need to have a look at what the set up is. Don't fancy it just being springs on standard shocks...

Ah fair enough. At least you'll get a nice easy intro into track days then. I'd love to do Oulton Park, but it's just so damned far away! ;)

Its not far from me at all :)

From what I've heard its definatly worth the drive, Portsmouth isnt that far! I did it in 3 hours in my 1.2.

  Sunshine Bus ph-quick
Its techincally both a down and up grade.. so shall we call it an across transfer?

Gone up an engine size and down a mark.
DEFO an improvement on the Mk2 :D

I'm not decisive.. lol

I wanted an MX5, but decided against it for practicallity reasons, theeeeeeeen I wanted a cabby, but since I take the dog most places with me..it'd never get used as a cabby..

So decided on a mk1 clio :)
Adamant I was having a ph2.
Was kinda set on having a white or green one.. but saw the naples and thought it worth a look.

looks in good condition. Its not lowered as much as 55mm at the front though, looks the same as my old one was on 35mm springs.

Thankies :)

It is really tidy for its age, i was suprised.
Looks like its been well polished as well..

I know winston :( I was gutted they weren't open to get it insured.
I do desperatly need a gear knob for it (wrong part came from Reno or something- so its got a Megane one) so might pop down to see you when I've got it insured tomorrow.

Tdee, I don't know how much my insurance is, as its not my policy and I've not rang up yet :)
