Got my car back, mapped, exhaust, H&R's

Got it back beginning of the week, sent it to be mapped.
Now have Throttle bodies, H&R Coil overs, Ktec stealth exhaust.
Most pleased with the ride of the H&R's much better than expected.
Exhaust is great and Throttle bodies sound awesome.

It's sadly running a little bit under powered, suspect the cams to be a bit fierce for the engine and it doesn't get any real power untill you hit really high rev's, so putting standard cams back on it to make it more drivable.

I fitted the throttle bodies and ecu.
Cams are defo not for road use IMO, know its gona be very good with standards, as its very good at high rev's.

just read the title above it, what filter you getting? pipercross?

Not sure on what filter to use as space is an issue.
I removed the small pipercross filters that was on each body to get a gain of around 7.5bhp on the rolling road, very restrictive filters indeed.

he bought my 172 cup which had the bodies on and put on his car, is now selling the cup,

and yes the filters were very restrictive, lost about 10-15 bhp in the summer with them on, all about the bellmouth end

Well, its now Clayed and polished, kept me busy for 2 hours tonight.
Emerald fitted so I didnt have to travel miles and miles to get it mapped.
JKM mapped it for me and he has done an excellent job of mapping it, very very smooth power delivery, just gota fit standard cams get the map tweaked a bit and its all done.

hi mike when i've spoke to nick at hillpower before about throttle bodies he's said bodies would work well with the standard cams,some of these cams knocking about are lifeless below 5k

Probably be down to see you next month, to get shot of my blueflame exhaust for a milltek. Car is looking good mate, definitely want to take a butchers at it.
