Got my Ipod Video working in thecar at last

Just ripped out the Alpine KCA 420i that Mike at Rentech fitted for me a few months ago - although it worked for music it was not possible to have the sound from films coming through the car system. So bought an Alpine MP3 connection wire which plugs into the CD changer input and then into the top of the ipod (headphone jack) and it works! I now have full surround sound on my ipod films - well chuffed and my son is even more chuffed!

If anyone wants a KCA-420i for their alpine head unit I now have one for sale - £30 posted. It works greta for music so all other ipods would be fine - it just doesnt work with film on the new 5th generation ipod
