No, me neither, but I though I'd give it a try!
The day started out like this.
Wheels completely lost in the front arches, not quite positive camber, but not far off.
I disliked this. Alot!
So, I posted up a wanted thread for some 25mm spacers, and yesterday they arrived courtesy of Alex_C, Thanks again fella!
I carefully fitted them, as i've heard bad things about Delta Mics Bolts, and was left with this:
Yeah, not bad... but PH2 Dynamique wheels were fast becoming boring, and I needed a change.
So, following on from my thread "16" SuperT's" http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=509795 i fitted these, along with the spacers...
I then had big scary visions of the arch slicing the tyre open when cornering, so then proceeded to fit a pair of Camber bolts.
Set to Maximum negative the top of the wheels went underneath the arch - a little safer now. And it does look kinda cool!
Did the same to the other side, and fitted the rear wheels, and took it for a drive
Had to raise the front quite a bit too :dead:, and remove the arch linings... still scrubs FFS!
No, i couldn't be bothered to wash it, and yes it needs tyre gel...
But it took forever to make the thing driveable!
Think i'm going to invest in RS Arches next...
We'll see!
