Got The RSI Back From GDI Today

I had cam belt and aux belt and tentioners, new clutch, and a full service including the dizzy and leads and all fluids renewed.

All i can say is that Andy did an amazing job. All the work was fist class and the car feels like new.

I have never had service like this before! he cleaned all the engine bay out and all the engine so it looks all mint now and he also did his little Trade Mark of painting the rocker cover blue!!

Thanks Andy for the great work you did and if anyone is thinking of going to GDI for any work i would highly recomend it!! 1st class Service and Guy.

Its alright mate! nice to drive and fairly quick! love the valver still though and that will be back at the end of the month!!

the total for that Danny was £650 well worth it mate!! Andy done top job! everything i need doing from now on will be going to Andy.

good work!! my friend has a 306 xsi 2.1 8v. loooooads of torque!

and the rsi looks well easy to work on compared to the valver

it does pull nice!! i just miss it going all the way round to 7.5k!!! im a bit worried that when i get the williams lump put in my valver i will miss it too!! but im sure the 2.0 power will make me feel a bit better!!

yeah, its a piece of piss mate. I didnt mind working on the RSi,lol. i used to come out of the engine bay with my hands still intact.

still engine out for the clutch to do it properly. but you can access most other things really easy though!!

i did the clutch on mine with the engine in mate.

i supose that to do the cambelt and everything as well it was esier to take the engine out.

i prefer to remove the engine to get the gbox off..... much less hardship when putting the box back on...

Yes, putting the F3P engine in should be no problem at all since its basically the same.

speak to andy at gdi. he could do it for you. and do a really good job. you gonna do other mods like headwork and cams? you may as well if you have the engine just sitting there.

Forget about turbos and all that crapola - raw engine size is what you need.
