GPS in Clio 182

Car  Vento TDI
Used to have a 52 reg clio dynamique and could never get my road angel to work due to the windscreen having the relective stuff on as standard.

I'm after a 182 atm, and wondering if any of you have one and use a tomtom with it okay?

Rgds,
Alex

there is a guide somewhere to putting a remote receiver in the rear window. I didnt have proiblems with my pda picking up gps but it wasnt the best signal.

New sat navs have better chips and work fine. Older one's need a seperate receiver lead.

My Garmin takes a while to locate itself, but once it's locked on, it's normally fine. I usually turn it on outside the car, then put it on the screen.

My road angel sat nav works in my 182 but does take a while to loacate itself as said above.

My tomtom works fine, it does take a while to get a clear signal but i believe thats because it can not believe that someone is actually in coventry....

Mine works fine- pocket loox running tomtom, but there again that works anywhere even in the house- really good sensitivity. I notice there is a rectangular hole in the reflective coating at the bottom of the screen an presumed this was there so Sat navs can receive through the coating.

get the antenna and run it over the binnacle and mount it on the wing mirror outside, so no more 'satellite not receiving signal' guff
