graphics card upgrade

i have a acer aspire 5735 laptop and recently bourght the grand theft auto 4 game it seems i need a better graphics card as it jumps and really slow on the game if u no what i mean lol can u buy graphics cards for laptops? or can you buy 1 that just plugs in? if so where from as they all just confuse me lol

Don't think it's possible on a laptop hence why you buy a desktop to play games on.

Some of the Alienware stuff IIRC you used to be able to change graphics cards

You're looking at an outlay of 2k+ just for the privilege, tho

ASUS ExpressCard based thing. Worked OK although it'd get raped by modern graphics cards...
