Greasing Bearings

Its been a long time since I last did this.

Do you still need to pack the grease into bearings and can you use some to help them press into the disc?

nope bearings are sealed...

and if you are using a press no need to lubricate maybe a bit of copperslip stop it seizing in

I believe you might do matey, i needed a press to get the b*****d out, a ball pein hammer just doesnt suffice...

I didnt bother taking them out! just noticed thats what you were on about lol

but i put the new ones in by putting the discs in the oven and the bearings in the freezer :rasp:

that really does work, but as i have always had a press handy not tried it.. i saw it done with a frozen bearing and a disk warmed with a blowtorch..

i will say dont try it tho.. press them:eek:
