Green Cotton Carbon Fibre Airbox

Hi guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I am thinking of upgrading my stock airbox to Green Cotton's CF airbox + filter (pictured below). Has anyone here done so.. and if so what gains / losses are to be expected?

Wouldn't imagine that you will get any masive gains, but it definately looks pretty sweet!

I'd wait and see what the JMS kit looks like before purchasing anything atm.

I assume the above is like the Simota Aeroform? (scoop like design) In which case it will almost certainly bring significant looses.

They have been doing a lot of work into the best gains from airbox/filter design for a while, trust me it'll be worth waiting for, their stuff is pretty good!!

If they recomend it then it will work!

I used a very similar looking kit on my old 1.4 ( which k-tec sell, simota i believe ) and it was the worst piece of crap i've ever bought.

Terrible quality, poor fitment and the car was much slower for it. IMO dont bother. Plus fake carbon fibre looks poo lol.

How much is the green?

Never seen one like that. I had a green enclosed on my VTR and VTS cost the earth to buy and went well, good fitment to.
