Greenlight insurance - How cheap are they?

  Astra CDTI SRI
Just got a quote from Directine for £285 on my 182 (27 y/o, 4 years NCD, no points, no claims, missus as a named driver)

Does anyone rekon greenlight would be cheaper?

I'm with directline at the mo, just got a qoute from Greenlight that came back at about 30% cheaper, plus they are not charging anything for my blueflame exhaust (if and when it arrives from the recent group buy!) only thing is it get's cheaper again when I hit 25. Currently they are quoting me £680 for 24yr 3 yr NCB and SP30 in the centre of Brighton parked on street for my Trophy whereas Direct line are making me cough up close to 1k at the mo. I'd def check em out.

Our minimum premium for a car of this group is £350 so we wouldn't be able to compete with your £285 from DirectLine. It seems a great quote at 27 with 4 years NCB.

Directline are a good insurer and their claims service is one of the best in the business.

Sorry we couldn't compete.

Just thinking, it might be so cheap becasue I have been a named driver on our lasses policy (she's already with Directline) and you get a discount for that I think. Plus our home insurance is with them as well.

Yes mate they are probably allowing you a family/group policy concession for having the other policies with them.

If you decide to modify the car then DirectLine are unable to quote meaning you have to find alternative cover....Then you know where we are ;)
