Grill Respray

So when i got my sport grill i sprayed it black, the usual way, sand, prime, colour and lacquer. Now its very badly cracked and want to respray it, how can I go about with the previous lacquer etc?

Help would be great, 100% clueless and dont want to ruin it.

Just sand it back & spray it again.

No need to use paint stripper?
